Day 1: Drive to Jinja, water rafting & sorce of river nile

In the morning after taking breakfast, you will be picked up from your place of residence and the start your journey to the eastern part of uganda. you may decide to have some stop over on the way depending on time, you will drive though the tropical rain forest of Mabira forest, which has various primates like the Colobus monkeys and different birds species, you will continue with the journey.

White water rafting in Jinja is divided into two sessions – morning and afternoon. One can choose to go for a full day of white water rafting but you will only go for the morning shift. The morning session starts at 9am. You will join your fellow rafters for registration and the briefing. After the briefing, you will be supplied with life jackets, helmets and other rafting gear. The activity will go on for about 4 hours after which you will be taken for lunch. After lunch,

in the afternoon after lunch, you will then go for a boat trip to the source of the Nile at the point where the Nile starts from before its journey to Egypt. later in the evening we drive back to your place of stay.

Transport to be used on your safari
This Tour is based on a Min-van with 4wd. it seats from up to the maximum of 8 persons. All our used vehicles are well maintained, customized with comfortable seats, a pop up roof which gives a wide viewing 360 angle!!

But in case you want an upgrade to a Land cruiser which is rated as the strongest safari vehicle on the African roads, it’s well maintained, customized with comfortable seats, a pop up roof which gives a wide viewing 360 angle!!.
